How To Become A Member
To qualify and before submitting an application for membership, you must ………….
What to do after qualifying ………….
- Visit (pay as a guest) at least 6 times within a 12-month period, beginning with the date of your first visit (unless waived by Board of Directors)
- Exceptions to 6 visit rule may apply to visits consisting of multiple days or extended stay visits within a 12 month period, upon recommendation from Office Manager and approval by Board:
- 4 visits of 3+ nights; or 1 monthly rental
- Applicants must attend an Orientation with an Office representative and meet with Board Members at a predetermined session prior to Membership approval
- Couples Memberships only consist of two adults (married or living under the same roof) and their children under age 21. All others will be considered as 'Single' memberships.
- Exceptions to 6 visit rule may apply to visits consisting of multiple days or extended stay visits within a 12 month period, upon recommendation from Office Manager and approval by Board:
- Reach 21 years of age, and have a current State issued ID.
- Hold an AANR membership, or apply at time of CFR membership approval.
- Volunteer. Carolina Foothills Resort is operated entirely by volunteers pitching in and working together, i.e.; event hosting or supporting, posted work days (grounds & road clean-up, site or facility repairs), or assisting anytime throughout the year when and where needed!
What to do after qualifying ………….
- Request and fill out an application; obtained from the office or by clicking on 'Membership Application' button below.
- Pay a one-time, non-refundable, $40 Applicant fee.
- Have your Photo taken.
- Authorize Carolina Foothills Resort to run a detailed background check (included in application fee).
- Set an appointment with an Office staff member for Member Orientation. At which time, you will review and provide signature stating that you understand our By-Laws, Policy & Procedure, Etiquette & Rules, and other related member documentation.
- Meet the Board: the Office Staff will coordinate with you a date/time the session with the Board of Directors will be set (casual discussion in an effort for you to meet the Board, and the Board to learn a little about you) prior to reviewing your application for approval.
- Await approval; after meeting the Board, the Office Staff will notify you (either by email or phone) once your application is approved.
- Membership begins; at time of Membership payment (by phone or in person). Pick up Membership bands on your next visit….Congratulations!
