Carolina Foothills Resort, Inc. (aka CFR) is a private club facility, member-owned, family friendly nudist resort established in 1991. We are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all who are interested in a nudist lifestyle. We are an AANR affiliated resort and nudist etiquette, and rules apply to members and guests at all times. As an AANR affiliated private club facility those who stay or visit may enjoy the fellowship, camaraderie, health, and other benefits of family social nudism ​in a non-sexual, harassment free, and intimidation free environment. 

You do not have to be a Member to visit our club! However, Visitors and Guests are required to have a background check and pre-approval before access through our gates.

Carolina Foothills Resort is perfectly located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains,  about an hour’s drive from Asheville, NC,  and Greenville, SC, and only a little further to Charlotte, NC, making it easy to come for an afternoon or an extended stay. With so much to do in these eclectic cities and everywhere in between, CFR is the perfect place to stay a while and explore all the area has to offer.  What better "home base" than somewhere you can come back and relax in a hot tub nude at the end of your day?

​Our resort is located on over 50 acres with over 30 acres of beautiful woods and includes two pools, hot tub, clubhouse, a firepit, pickleball court, putt putt course, outside exercise area, and trails through the woods, along a creek, and an open meadow. Most of our trails are accessible year round via golf carts, bicycles, and/or walking. We offer a nice balance of event-directed weekends, and the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the facilities. Pitch your tent, park your RV, or rent one of our rentals and enjoy CFR’s Southern hospitality.

Accommodations

CFR's overnight accommodations include tent and RV sites rentals and Rental Units include Platform Tent Rentals, Basic Cabin Rentals, Deluxe Cabin Rentals, & RV Club Rentals. 

Amenities

CFR 
Make yourself at home at CFR any time of the year. Our pool is open during our in-season hours. The hot tub, pickleball court, putt putt course, and clubhouse are open year round.
In the clubhouse you can use our cooking facilities, do your laundry, and take nice hot showers.
Our full kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, cookware, utensils, and disposable plates/bowls, cups.
​There is a coffee maker and dishwasher.
 
Oh, and you can access free Wi-Fi across the entire resort!

First Time?

The Process

Background Check

CFR runs a background check for sexual and criminal activity on all visitors and guests to maintain a safe, family-friendly nudist resort.
The first step is to complete and return the background check permission form to the CFR Office.

Choose A Visit Type

The CFR Office will contact you once your background check is processed. The next step is to choose a daily pass or arrange for overnight accommodations (your RV, tent or one of our cabins)

Agree to Rules

On your first visit to CFR, one of our Office Staff will review our etiquette and rules document, and have you sign the document for our records.

"​First timers here.. This place is amazing. We went this past Saturday and were only there for 2 hours because we had other plans. It was my birthday gift to myself. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. We plan on coming back again and will do a whole day and an over night. If we ever had a question, we could easily ask anyone next to us and they're super sweet. We met a lot of cool people and enjoyed it tremendously. The pool had a band going but they had several games about the property. I honestly did not want to leave. We got the tour being new and everyone around were just so welcoming. We walked around a bit and they had a bunch of things to do. Games, putt putt, horse shoe. Update on 2nd trip. It was amazing. I met so many wonderful people and everyone were so welcoming again. We had a lot to do. The Dj and dancing was so fun. My bf danced with anyone that would dance and everyone were so welcoming and kept him busy dancing. Thank goodness because I was tired. Haha. I can't get over how respectful and welcoming everyone were. The cabin we stayed in was clean and nice. I am going to make sure to at least come here once or twice a year and try different events. I am so happy to have found this place."
